The Role

The Full-Stack Developer (Flutter) role supports the development, reliability and production quality of Ijeoma’s mobile products.

The work spans Flutter development, mobile performance, platform integrations and the delivery of dependable user experiences across varied device and connectivity conditions.

It requires an engineer who can work independently, improve an existing product and make practical technical decisions in a production environment.

What You’ll Work On

• Build, improve and maintain Ijeoma’s Flutter mobile application.
• Improve application reliability, performance, error handling and overall production quality.
• Support dependable behaviour across changing connectivity conditions.
• Integrate mobile experiences with backend, geospatial and other product services.
• Strengthen secure local data handling and background mobile functionality.
• Optimise the application across a broad range of Android and iOS devices.
• Support testing, release preparation and production deployment.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong professional experience developing production Flutter applications.
• Experience delivering at least one production mobile application.
• Strong understanding of Flutter application architecture and state management.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with APIs and cloud services.
• Experience with offline behaviour, background services and data synchronisation.
• Experience with maps, geolocation or other location-aware mobile functionality.
• Good understanding of secure storage, data protection and mobile application security.
• Strong testing, debugging and release-management practices.
• Ability to work independently and maintain clean, dependable code.

Useful Experience

• Experience building safety, mobility, logistics or other operational mobile products.
• Experience building for low-connectivity or infrastructure-constrained environments.
• Experience with Firebase or equivalent cloud-service platforms.
• Experience working with native Android or iOS integrations alongside Flutter.

Working Arrangement

This role works with the wider Ijeoma engineering team to support the continued development and production readiness of the mobile platform.
