About Ijeoma
Ijeoma Intelligence is a real-time safety platform for organisations and individuals operating in high-risk environments. Initially launching in Nigeria, Ijeoma aims to serve the world's most complex and challenging operating environments.
The Role
We need someone to own Ijeoma's social media presence across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and TikTok. You will create content, manage our pages, and go into the field to capture street interviews and vox pops that bring our mission to life. You will work directly with the founder.
What You'll Do
- Create and schedule content across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and TikTok
- Develop educational content around safety awareness and personal security
- Conduct street interviews and vox pops that perform well across platforms
- Manage community engagement and grow the following
- Maintain a content calendar with a draft-approve-post workflow
Requirements
- Strong understanding of how content works differently on TikTok, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn
- Ability to shoot and edit short-form video
- Good spoken and written English
- Comfortable approaching strangers for street interviews
- Based in Nigeria, preferably Lagos or Abuja
- Self-starter who can work independently
Nice to Have
- Studying or recently graduated in communications, media studies, or marketing
- Interest in security, technology, or social impact
- Existing portfolio of content you have created (personal accounts count)
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva or similar)
Compensation & Working Arrangement
Compensation
₦100,000 – ₦150,000/month
- Fully remote with occasional fieldwork as needed
- Direct reporting to the founder
- Weekly content review calls
- Minimum 3-month commitment
